I certainly have a lot to be thankful for during this thanksgiving season: my gorgeous baby boy, a baby girl on the way, my loving family and a  job that I love owning my own maternity clothing store Bella Belli Maternity. But one more thing that I am definitely thankful for is the creation of the Belly Bandit.

As I am pregnant and writing this entry, I am dreaming about my end of the day pregnancy ritual when baby is sleeping, dishes are clean and I get a minute to myself. It doesn't happen very often anymore (with a six month old, work and a baby on the way) but tonight I am making time for myself.

Nursing does not have to be as unfashionable as you think in your post-pregnancy stage. After looking great in your cute maternity clothes for the last six or so months, don't let it all go to waste when baby comes home.

We have all heard that working out during pregnancy is good for both mom and baby. While I am not one to say I have completely taken this advice (I tend to use pregnancy as an excuse not to work out rather than a reason!!), I know there are a lot of you out there that workout and feel great. 

So what is a layette? Basically all of the things you need after pregnancy for your new arrival. While it may be overwhelming what you need for your newborn, we are here to help.

We all love our Ingrid & Isabel Bella Bands. They help our non-maternity pants last longer as our bodies are getting larger, they keep our maternity pants from falling down when our bellies want to push them down, and they help post-pregnancy when we are getting back into our old skinny jeans.

Great fitting jeans are hard to find on a good day but when you are pregnant with a growing belly and widening hips it can be nearly impossible without some work. A lot of our maternity customers want their jeans to look exactly the same way as when they are not pregnant when they leave the store. The problem is that the jean will not fit you for very long.
